ABSTRACT
This study examined teachers attitude towards improvisation of materials for teaching basic science in Kuje Area Council. Three research questions were formulated to guide the study. The research design adopted for the study was a descriptive survey design. The sample of the study constituted of 16 respondents. A questionnaire was used to gather data while table and simple percentage were used to analyze the data. Major findings revealed that teachers like to improvise materials for teaching basic scienceand male and female teachers do not have the same attitude towards improvisation of materials for teaching. It was recommended that teachers should motivate the students in learning basic science and develop attitude which will arouse the interest of the learners.
